This week started off well, and kind of ended with a thud. Thanksgiving was great as my wife and I drove to South Carolina to spend time with her side of the family which I always truly enjoy. It was the first year though that we would not have her mother with us as she passed away about 2 months ago. Everyone is doing ok because we know she is with her Savior, but we still miss her dearly.
I am truly thankful for all of the things I’ve been blessed with – especially my family and friends. This week has been a reminder of just how much I have been blessed with. We had two Thanksgiving’s; Thursday & Friday. It was great to be able to see and spend time with family we only see once or twice a year.
The thud part is that I started off the week very focused on getting my exercises in and as the week went by, I began missing times and then missed two entire days. I can feel the change when I am not focused and not doing what needs to be done. “Today I begin a new life”
